If you’re a D+ cup size, I’m sure you know the struggle of finding large chest outfits, especially for active women that are supportive and cute. Look no further, I’m a high-impact sports bra designer for bigger busts and a fellow 32DD cup gal. Shopping for outfits for big bust is kinda my thing. Let’s talk athleisure outfits for busty women.

I feel like my bust size has dictated my outfits for most of my life. I’m an active girl. I’ve never been one of those women that loved my curvy and petite build. Seriously, I cried the day my mom bought me my first trainer bra and now I own a bra company— how ironic is that?🤣 Lucky for you, I’ve spent all the money on all the wrong bra essentials and large bust athleisure outfits so you don’t have to.
This post is all about large chest outfits for active women every D+ cup size needs right now

Large Chest Outfits For Active Women
Gym Must Haves for Women

Sports Bras That Don’t Suck
Every bigger busted woman knows that finding large chest sports bra for your next gym session is not a mission for the faint-hearted. As a sports bra designer who specializes in high-impact sports bras for big busts, I have always struggled to find affordable, supportive, functional, and flattering sports bras.
Lululemon is one of the best brands for good quality sports bras that are supportive and actually last. If you’re anything larger than a C cup, sports bras are just one of those apparel items that larger-busted women have to splurge on for quality. You really do get what you pay for.
I love Lululemon for their gym fits. This sports bra did not disappoint when I was looking for my next training outfit. I actually reviewed this sports bra on my YouTube channel – you can check out an in-depth review of this bra here.
This bra comes in regular bra sizes which is unheard of, especially for that price point at $58. The fit and feel is high quality. I know $58 can feel like a lot for a bra, but when you spend the money upfront, they LAST. As a large chested gal, that is what I’m looking for!
I love the adjustable straps, especially for this design, and the hook n eye in the back is a nice bonus in case the band is too big on you.
If you’re shopping on a budget, wait for this bra to go on sale. But, make sure you know your bra size or get it in stores because discounted sales at Lululemon are final. If you don’t know how to find your correct bra size, check out my latest Instagram reel here breaking it down for you.
If Lululemon is out of your price range (I put myself through college, I totally get it), I found a similar bra that I love from Old Navy. It’s not as supportive, but for just $20 (sometimes even cheaper!), this is my go-to comfort bra that I find I can wear for training sessions with minimal bouncing and it functions just fine!
The quality is not as good as Lululemon, which makes sense! The material doesn’t fully cover ~nippliage~ if you know what I’m saying. Also, if you’re in between sizes, always size down! I’m a 32DD and a perfect Medium in this Old Navy sports bra.
I did an in-depth review of this similar sports bra to Lululemon on my YouTube channel, you can check that out here.
Cute Gym Bag Ideas
I’m one of those girls who workout in my home gym (because tbh I hate huffing and puffing in front of other people and most of the gyms in my area just aren’t a vibe). Sooo, I’m not one of those girls that need a go-to gym back. But, I am one of those girls that has a lot of stuff to carry around and I hate the feeling of a bag digging into your shoulder.
When I am shopping for gym bags, here are a few musts:
1.) A space to hold my water bottle
2.) It’s comfortable to carry on my shoulders
3.) It’s big enough to hold my basic gym essentials (towel, resistant loops, sweatshirt, slides).
This bag from Target is sooo cute and it’s less than $40. The water bottle storage area is perfect if you’re on the go and you have a closed-lid water bottle.
I also think it’s important to stick to darker gym bag colors because gyms are dirty and your bag will stay looking nicer way longer if you opt away from white or tan. I think this bag is perfect for your next gym session.
Water Bottle
Reduce 28oz Hydro Pure, Water Bottle, $15-$19
Speaking of water bottles, who doesn’t love a good water bottle? I love that this bottle is a closed lid container and it is 28oz so it holds a decent amount of water. I love the “cotton color” with the gold lid (perfect for your next aesthetic IG after-workout story) and it’s made to keep your drinks cold for up to 36 hours.
For that price, I think this is a perfect addition to your gym must have collection.
A Workout Outfit You Can’t Live Without – On a Budget
CRZ Yoga Hugged Feeling Pocket Leggings 25”, $30
If you know me from YouTube, you would know that I am the queen of finding affordable workout leggings that don’t ride up, slide down, or create all of the 🐫 shapes.
I am obsessed with CRZ Yoga leggings. When it comes to sports bras, I find that you really have to spend a pretty penny to get a good quality sports bra. Like, a minimum of $50. Ouch.
But with leggings, these CRZ Yoga Hugged Feeling Pocket leggings are a perfect dupe to the Lululemon Align leggings and they’re only $30.

To be honest, I’ve never bought Lululemon align leggings because $128 is simply out of my budget. But, I’ve heard from multiple women, including the Leggings Queen on YouTube, Hope Scope, who vouched for the quality of these leggings. I am in love with this brand.
My best tip is to size DOWN for a super tight, compressed fit, especially for running. I’m a US size 4 in pants and a normal size small. I sized down to an XS in these leggings and they fit me perfectly. If you like your leggings to fit looser, like joggers, keep your normal size.
They’re also sold on Amazon. If you’re looking to throw a pair in with your next Amazon order, they’re only $30, and seriously, my go-to workout legging on a budget.
CRZ Yoga Leggings on Amazon
PowerSoft Cropped Full-Zip Performance Jacket for Women, $27-$54
I love anything and everything neutral. Old Navy has some of the best activewear essentials on a budget that I have found.
I personally do not love their leggings (🐫), but their jackets and shirts are SO good on a budget.
For my athletic jackets, I always look for athletic materials. This jacket is made out of 77% polyester, 23% spandex which is perfect to pair with your next gym outfit.
The material is sweat-wicking and stretchy which provides extra support over your sports bra, as opposed to cotton which doesn’t offer a lot of lift, especially for heavy breasts.
I love this jacket, and for $27 (on sale), consider it, in my cart in every color!
Adidas Swift Run Shoes, $63-$90
Ahh, shoes are another gym must have that you have to spend a good amount on to get a pair that will last. My go-to shoe brands are Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour. Nike has the best running shoes. Adidas has the best style and training shoe. Under Armour is another great running shoe.
I love Adidas for their training shoes. Their true-to-size, comfortable, supportive, and most importantly – don’t give you blisters!
I love the style and design of these shoes. They are perfect for weight lifting or yoga because the bottom soles aren’t too bulky. But, they’re also designed to be a running shoe.
If you can’t snag these shoes on sale, I also love Adidas Cloud Foam shoe for weightlifting. I find them at Kohl’s on sale for around $50. If they’re not on sale now, wait them out, they always have sales (and they have a white pair too)!
Adidas Creator 365 Crew Socks, $12-$16
Crew socks are the best (literally everyone on Instagram is wearing them, basic I know). But, how cute are these? I always stick with name-brand socks because I find that there is a difference in quality compared to non-name brand socks.
These crew socks have been my go-to all year.
Pro tip: buy the pack and wear the same 3 pairs (if you can) until those wear out, and then switch to the rest of the pack. I find this makes your socks last longer, especially if they’re white!

Women’s Adidas 6-Pack Athletic No-Show Socks, $14-$20
If crew socks aren’t your vibe, ankle socks are totally my thing too. I like pairing these ankle socks with my Under Armour running shoes. They’re amazing quality and last forever.
Apple Watch Series 3 GPS Silver – 42mm – White Sport Band, $169
This is absolutely not necessary but it’s an essential gym fit that has added a surprising amount of value to my daily routine. My brother got this watch for my as a graduation gift in 2018 and I seriously have not taken it off. I like to use my Apple Watch for walks, runs, timers, answering texts, and so much more.
I have a Series 3 watch. There are newer series out but they are a little more expensive. I have noticed that my watch has slowed down since I got it back in 2018 – but, for that price, it does everything you would need a watch to do to track your workouts and more!
My Go-to Activewear Brands for Large Busts
Sports Bras For Everyday Wear
Every brand specializes in a certain aspect of activewear. Womens activewear on a budget isn’t always easy to find which is why I’m sharing my best gym fits for the right occasion – starting with sports bras.

If you’re in the D-DDD cup range, Lululemon makes the best supportive sports bras for big busts, in my opinion. They have a lot of different styles and colors to choose from, too. Love this bra for running and weight lifting!
If you’re larger than an E to F cup and you’re looking for a supportive sports bra, SheFit has this figured out. This bra is certainly not an everyday bra, but for exercise, it gets the job done. If you’re smaller than a D cup, the support might not be necessary for you, but the adjustability is next-level.
I reviewed this sports bra on my YouTube channel, you can check it out here.
Old Navy is my go-to brand for quality and affordable activewear. I don’t think this is the most supportive sports bra you can find, but for the money and the comfort, this one is high on my list! I would not recommend this bra if you are anything larger than a DD(E) cup size.
Nike makes surprisingly supportive sports bras despite their generic styles. I love a class racerback sports bra for exercise and I always find that Nike is a brand I can trust, even as a larger-chested woman. This bra is best for D-DDD cup sizes.
Champion sports bras are best for everyday wear. They are low-impact support and I find that pairing them under a t-shirt or loose long-sleeve shirt is so comfy! This bra is not supportive for exercise.
Affordable Leggings for Active Women

Colorfulkoala Women’s Buttery Soft High Waisted Yoga Pants Full-Length Leggings
If you haven’t heard of Colorfulkoala, have you been living under a rock? This Amazon activewear brand is all the rage these days. These pants are raking in an average of 4.3 stars thanks to their buttery soft fabric and affordable price. I highly recommend these leggings.
I do think they run a little big. If you like a compressed fit, consider sizing down.
I briefly reviewed these leggings on my YouTube channel. You can check out that review here, starting at 12:19.
CRZ Yoga is another brand that is giving Lululemon a run for its’ money in the leggings department. I fricken love these leggings. I have 3 pairs and I wear them for everything! The pockets are life-changing.
If you’re in between sizes or you like a tighter fit, I recommend sizing down. I think these Amazon brands run a little big.
I came across these pants on the By Sophia Lee’s Instagram page. I haven’t personally tried them, but her and her 104k followers rave about them so I thought I’d mention them – especially for less than $30!
The Leggings Queen also has done reviews on this brand and I’m here for it. I love their affordable prices and thick fabrics. Another great Amazon legging dupe, especially if you’re activewear shopping on a budget.
Women’s Athletic Fashion – Shoes For Every Occasion
Shoes are one of those things that you can’t skimp on. There is a right shoe for the right occasion. Here are my go-to shoes for athleisure wear, training at the gym, and running for exercise.

- Women’s Swift Run Shoes, $65-$70
These shoes are sleek, attractive, and true to size. They are also great for gym workouts because they’re not too bulky. Adidas overall makes a great shoe, especially if you’re like me and you’re always falling in between sizes (hello, a “perfect” 7.5 shoe and “Smedium” shirt size).
I find that I have to be so careful about purchasing running shoes. If I don’t buy the right pair, hello shin splints, goodbye cardio.
I love these shoes for running because they are true to size, comfortable, long-lasting, and they don’t rub against your ankles. Highly recommend for your next running session!
If you haven’t seen these shoes somewhere, who are you and what are you doing with your life? Kidding, ha! These Nike lifestyle shoes were my go-to in college for literally everything classes, walking, errands, and more.
I think they run a little big so definitely read the size chart before purchasing!
Workout Essentials I Wish I Knew About Sooner
Resistant Loops
Alright, this isn’t necessarily outfit-related, but I bring these resistance loops with me everywhere. I wish I had known sooner that these $12.95 workout loops are amazing for targeting deep tissue and building that booty up quickly. I absolutely love these and highly recommend adding this to your next booty routine!
Ponytail Hair Coils No Crease
I wish someone had told me about these hair ties sooner. They definitely do not tie as tight as a normal hair tie, but if you’re trying to avoid the crease that elastic hair tyes cause, these are a winner, and only $7 on Amazon!
Oversized Workout Tees
I love pairing this flattering top for big bust with a pair of biker shorts in the summertime. There is something so cozy about this oversized look. I wore this outfit on repeat this summer for bike rides, grocery runs, and errands. So comfy and only $9.99 at H&M!
Creating large chest outfits that are flattering and functional as a bigger busted woman can be some frustrating, especially if you’re shopping on a budget.
Through my years of athleisure shopping, I have found that sticking to brands I trust is worth the investment and overall, the pieces that longer.
I hope that you found this helpful and that you’re next activewear shopping trip, online or in person, will be a good one!
